Instructions | Notes: 0.5 mL (Note: This volume Does NOT allow for repeat testing) Specimen Type: Trasylol(R) collection kit (Obtain no 33328 through LabCorp branch locations) Specimen Storage: FREEZE Specimen Collection: Using a chilled lavender-top (EDTA) tube, collect a whole blood specimen, add 0.25 mL of Trasylol(R) to the tube and mix well. Centrifuge the sample and remove the plasma. FREEZE immediately. To avoid delays in turnaround time when requesting multiple tests on frozen samples, PLEASE SUBMIT SEPARATE FROZEN SPECIMENS FOR EACH TEST REQUESTED. Special Instructions: Testing is performed at Esoterix Endocrinology Laboratory: ES#501836 NOTE: Add aprotinin (Trasylol(R)) to all specimens to allow for analyte stability.
