Instructions | The preferred specimen is mini-Flocked Swab in Universal Transport Media (UTM) (Comes as a kit: Supply# 50775), BD Viral Transport Media (VTM) or M4. Keep swabs refrigerated, Stability 7 days refrigerated. Also acceptable 3mL(1mL) BAL or NP/Nasal/Tracheal Aspirate Sterile Screwtop tube Refrigerated. Unacceptable Specimens: Eswabs, Calcium Alginate or Wooden Shaft Swabs. |
