| Instructions | This test should only be used if the patient has been instructed by their physician to have glucose testing 2 hours after patient has ingested a normal meal. If doctor instructs the patient to ingest Glucola, then order "GLUC 2 HR" Glucose 2 Hour Only. Lithium heparin and clot tube must be spun within 2 hours for the integrity of the specimen. Stability: Ambient 8 hours, Refrigerated 7 days, Frozen 1 month Fluoride preserved plasma samples are stable at room temperature for 24 hours |
