Instructions | According to the American Diabetes Association, Collect specimen 2 hours after the patient ingests 75 grams of Glucola. Lithium heparin and clot tube must be spun within 2 hours for the integrity of the specimen. If doctor instructs the patient to ingest a "Normal Meal", then order "GLUC 2HRPC" Glucose Tolerance (2 Hour Only) Post Prandial. Stability: Ambient 8 hours, Refrigerated 7 days, Frozen 1 month Fluoride preserved plasma samples are stable at room temperature for 24 hours |
