Instructions Specimen Type: TWO full lavender-top (EDTA) tubes
Specimen Storage: FREEZE Whole Blood in transport tube and Keep Room Temperature Whole Blood Specimen.
Specimen Collection: Transfer 4 mL from One whole blood tube into a plastic transport tube and FREEZE.
Keep the Sectond Tube Room temperature and whole blood - Do Not Spin.
To avoid delays in turnaround time when requesting multiple tests on frozen samples, PLEASE SUBMIT SEPARATE FROZEN SPECIMENS FOR EACH TEST.
